The group travels west on North Temple.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, employees from UTA and Salt Lake City, including Mayor Ralph Becker, took to the streets to explore the Airport TRAX Line construction up close and personal. The tour began at the Bicycle Transit Center located at Salt Lake Central Station where the participants received helmets, water and bikes for the six-mile tour.

The tour included stops at the North Temple Viaduct construction site, the newly built Jordan River Bridge and the portion of the line that skirts Wingpointe Golf Course. Around 17 people participated and all reported that bikes were a great first-hand way to see how the work is progressing.
