Route 21 runs from the Central Pointe TRAX Station up 2100 South to 2100 East. At 2100 East, it makes a turn north and heads to the University of Utah.
This route runs every 15 minutes on weekdays and every half hour on Saturdays. Sunday service is limited.
There are dozens of dining options along the route – local favorites include Gandolfo’s, Millie’s Burgers, Original Pancake House, Sampan Chinese Cuisine, Salt Lake Pizza and Pasta, The Soup Kitchen, and the Dodo.
Or, you could check out The Blue Plate Diner located at 2041 South 2100 East, a mere 30 yards from a UTA bus stop.
The Blue Plate Diner serves breakfast all day long, lunch and dinner options after 11 a.m. The menu includes traditional American diner fare, supplemented with vegetarian and vegan options.
Credit cards are accepted at The Blue Plate. Menu prices range from $5.99 to $12.
