As part of our 50th anniversary, we’ve created four augmented reality experiences that share different highlights from UTA’s history. Learn more about UTA by clicking on the links below to engage with the effect and social media channel of your choosing. Each time you share this experience on Facebook or Instagram with #50YearsForward and tag @RideUTA, you will be entered into a drawing to win limited edition UTA 50th Anniversary swag and other prizes.

We’ll release a new augmented reality experience each month from February through May. Sign-up for Rider Insider to hear about each one.

What is augmented reality? Augmented reality is digital experience where users can use their phone via Facebook or Instagram to see graphics transposed onto real life surroundings.

How do I use augmented reality on Facebook or Instagram? Make sure you have the latest version of the app downloaded and are logged in. Then just click the link to the effect you want to use.

I don’t have Facebook or Instagram on my phone. How do I get them? Facebook and Instagram apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google App Store. If you don’t already have an account, you will need to sign up for one to use the effect.

Can I use the AR effects on my desktop? To interact with the effect, you must use your phone.
