Election Day is around the corner — and UTA is making it easier for our community to get to their polling places.

On Tuesday, November 3, all Utah Transit Authority services will be free, including Paratransit and UTA On Demand by Via. As a public agency, we’re deeply committed to making important destinations along the Wasatch Front (and beyond) accessible.

We’ve prepared a list of select polling places in our service area that are easy to access using UTA. We’ve highlighted routes that have recently received a boost in late-night service — making sure you can get home in case of long lines, well after the polling places close. (This isn’t an exhaustive list, so make sure you check your county’s website for all polling places and mail-in ballot drop boxes.)

In fact, take a minute to check your voting status at vote.utah.gov. It's an easy way to confirm your address for your mail-in-ballot, find your polling place or register to vote. And if you haven't registered yet, do so by October 23.

Keep in mind that you must be in line or drop your ballot off before 8 pm on Election Day in order for your vote to be counted.

Before you #UTAtoVote, don’t forget that face coverings are required on all UTA services. And, when you’re planning our trip, make sure to use Transit: UTA’s official app for mobile trip planning.

October 27 Update:
Transit has added a complete list of ballot drop-off locations, early voting centers, and Election Day polling places to the map. Plan a trip on UTA to your closest voting location.
