UTA is partnering with UDOT in the Central Corridor Transit Study (CCTS) to evaluate options for reliable and more frequent high-capacity transit service between Lehi and Provo.

The CCTS has identified a Preferred Alternative that includes a bus rapid transit (BRT) line from Lehi to Provo, similar to the Utah Valley Express (UVX). We now need your input on the Preferred Alternative to advance the study for further evaluation in an environmental study and engineering.

You can provide feedback in the following ways:

1.    Participate in one of two upcoming online public meetings. The Preferred Alternative will be presented and the public will have the opportunity to engage in a live question and answer session on Monday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 7 p.m. or Thursday, Oct. 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. The information presented will be the same at both meetings. A link to the meeting will be provided on the CCTS website 15 minutes prior to the presentation start time.

2.    Visiting the website at www.centraltransit.utah.gov and leaving comments on the interactive map.

3.    Calling the project hotline at 385-355-3133.

Refinements to the Preferred Alternative will be considered based on public input and additional technical analysis before being advanced to an environmental study in early 2021 for further evaluation. Visit the CCTS website today to make sure your voice is heard. The current comment period will conclude on November 13.
