Get ready for an exciting ski season!
Ski Bus offers a reliable and convenient winter transportation option for both locals and visitors, helping to reduce canyon traffic and protect our environment.
Service Start and End Dates
Ski Bus start dates are contingent on resort open dates and operating constraints. Most Ski Bus routes are planned to begin on Winter Change Day, December 6, and run through Spring Change Day, April 11.
Routes operated by UTA (674, 675, 677, 880, 972, 994) may begin as early as Thanksgiving if resorts open prior to December 6 and may close earlier than April 11 if resorts close earlier.
Canyon Service (CS) routes begin service December 6 and will run through April 11 regardless of resort open and close dates.
Route 880 (service to Sundance) will begin December 19.
The best way to know ahead of time whether a UTA Ski Bus route is operating or not is to call Customer Service at 801-RIDE-UTA (801-743-3882) or check the Transit app.

- Transit app: Use your credit or debit card to pay through the Transit app. Show your mobile ticket to the bus driver when you board. No reduced fare available on Transit app.
- Pass: If you have a ski pass* (e.g., IKON or season pass) or UTA FAREPAY Card, tap your card on the card reader when you board the bus.
- Cash: Make sure you have exact change; our drivers cannot make change. Cash may not be used for reduced fare and is not accepted on Canyon Service (CS) routes.
*Ski Bus service is included with your resort season pass, Super Pass, or 2026-27 IKON Pass.
