Promotions

UTA is currently offering the following promotional discounts/fares.

Horizon Discount

Use the cash value on your Utah State Horizon Card to purchase the Adult Monthly Pass and receive a discount of approximately 16%. The pass is good for unlimited travel on local buses and TRAX for one calendar month. This fare applies to passengers ages 18-64. Two children ages 5 and younger may accompany a passenger with a monthly pass. Additional fare will be required on express and premium services.

Family Pass

A family pass is available for FrontRunner, TRAX and local bus. The pass is good for two adults (age 18 and older) and up to six children under the age of 18. For trips beginning on a bus, family passes must be pre-purchased at selected UTA Pass outlets. This family pass will be validated by the bus operator at the time of use. Each validated pass will then be good for one round-trip on bus, TRAX and/or FrontRunner from 5 p.m. to closing on Weekdays, anytime Saturday and Sunday (bus and TRAX only), and on UTA scheduled holidays. For trips beginning on FrontRunner or TRAX, family passes should be purchased at a ticket vending machine. These machines are located at all FrontRunner and TRAX stations. At the time of purchase, each ticket will be validated by the ticket vending machine and can be used for one round-trip ride on FrontRunner, TRAX and/or bus as noted above.
