  1. Will the construction of the Intermodal Hub TRAX extension cause any road closures?

    The only road that will see any type of closure is 100 South, which will be closed to eastbound and westbound traffic at 400 West, it will remain open for local business access from 300 West. The other roads along the alignment will remain open throughout the construction project with one lane of traffic in each direction.

  2. Will the businesses along the alignment always have access?

    Yes, all of the businesses and residences along the construction alignment will have 24-hour access to their properties. Access to driveways and building entrances will always be maintained.

  3. Where exactly is the extension going to run?

    It will begin at the existing Arena Station on South Temple and travel south on 400 West to 200 South. At 200 South it will turn west and travel to 600 West. At 600 West it will turn south and travel to 300 South where the line will end at the Intermodal Hub.

  4. What is the Intermodal Hub?

    With the completion of the Intermodal Hub TRAX Extension and FrontRunner commuter rail the Intermodal Hub will be the epicenter for public transportation in Salt Lake County. It will bring together TRAX, FrontRunner, UTA busses, Greyhound and Amtrak all in one location. It is located at 300 South and 600 West.
