UTA will offer regular weekday service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21. Consider riding public transit to one of the events being held to honor Dr. King’s legacy. You can see our full holiday schedule here.

Weber County

Ride route 455 to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Marshall White Center, 222 28th Street. After the breakfast and program concludes at 1:30 p.m., there will be a freedom march and service project.

Salt Lake County

Join Westminster students, faculty and local residents as they gather Monday, Jan. 21 at 9 a.m. at Westminster‘s Converse Hall for a rally and march through Sugar House. Westminster is accessible via routes 17, 21 or 220

You can also take route 213220 or 223 to East High School to participate in a rally and march organized by the University of Utah. The rally starts at 2:30 p.m. and will be followed by a march to Kingsbury Hall at 3 p.m.

Utah County

BYU's annual community outreach day will be held on Jan. 21. Events begin at 8:50 a.m. at the Wilkinson Student Center. To participate, ride routes 822, 831 or UVX to the BYU campus.
