Dona Ibrahim just completed a double major in business and film and media arts with an emphasis in animation - thanks, in part, to UTA.

The recent graduate commuted from Saratoga Springs to the University of Utah. Rather than making the 45-minute drive to campus, she used her time on the train to study and work on school projects.

“I’d get on, log right on to the Wi-Fi with my computer and work on animations,” Ibrahim said. “It was a crucial part of my college career.”

Ibrahim started riding UTA to classes in 2013 and took FrontRunner and either TRAX or the bus to the University of Utah every weekday for more than five years.

“I took the train literally five days a week,” she said. “I was constantly on UTA.”

Ibrahim recently completed an internship with the Adult Swim television network and and hopes to become a television writer. Good luck, Dona, and thanks for letting UTA be a part of your college career!
