Q: What single bus route gives Utah County riders convenient access to TRAX, FrontRunner, two universities, shopping centers, religious landmarks and more?

A: Route 811, a fixture of Utah County public transportation for nearly 20 years.

Route 811 runs from Draper’s Kimball Junction Station to Brigham Young University in Provo. The 33-mile route connects to the Lehi FrontRunner Station, Utah Valley University and the Timpanogos Transit Center. It also serves the Provo LDS Temple and Missionary Training Center, businesses and restaurants along University Parkway as well as Thanksgiving Point.

The route started operation in 1999 to connect riders to the new TRAX system. Today, the route stretches south to BYU on weekdays and ends at the Timpanogos Transit Center on weekends. It is currently the only Utah County bus route that operates on Sunday. You can see a route 811 schedule here, or plan your trip on route 811 at http://www.rideuta.com/Rider-Tools/Trip-Planner
