Skiing this Weekend? Ride UTA

We’re coming up on a three-day weekend with lots of fresh snow. If you’re headed to the slopes, consider using UTA’s ski service. We have daily service to resorts in Weber County, Park City, Big and Little Cottonwood canyons and Utah County. There’s no better time to help cut down on canyon traffic and reduce air pollution in the midst of inversion season.

Things to note:

POW DAY, Friday, Jan. 13

Ride UTA or carpool to Alta, Powder Mountain, Snowbird or Sundance and you will receive a POW DAY beanie, along with an invitation to ski or snowboard with a POW athlete, attend a POW DAY party and  a chance to win prizes. Available while supplies last, more information here.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service Schedule

UTA will offer regular weekday bus and rail service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 16.

Have a Question?

Contact us on Twitter at @rideuta. We can help you track your bus or plan a trip. We also tweet rail alerts and delays of 10 minutes or more and share information about major canyon closures.

Plan Ahead

Canyon traffic affects buses as well as cars. Please allow extra travel time over this busy holiday weekend. You can track your bus using the vehicle locator feature on our mobile-friendly website.

Check the Schedule

In December, we streamlined and improved our Big and Little Cottonwood ski service to offer more frequent buses all day long. We’re also offering a new route (rt. 667) that runs from Layton to Snowbasin Resort. You can find the schedules for all our ski routes here, and use the UTA Trip Planner to plan a trip.
