Riding UTA over the New Year’s holiday weekend? We’ll have extra service on New Year’s Eve and limited service on New Year’s Day (Sunday, Jan. 1) and the New Year’s Day observed holiday (Monday, Jan. 2). Regular service will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
New Year’s Eve (Saturday, December 31)
We’re running late TRAX, S-Line and FrontRunner service to help you enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities. Please see the schedule below for times. All trains will run on a Saturday schedule unless otherwise noted.
New Year’s Day (Sunday, Jan. 1)
UTA will not offer bus, TRAX, FrontRunner or paratransit service. Sunday ski bus and Park City bus service will be provided. Service will not be provided to the Jan. 1 University of Utah men’s basketball game at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
New Year’s Day observed (Monday, Jan. 2)
UTA will not offer FrontRunner service. Local buses, ski buses, TRAX and paratransit service will run on Sunday schedules. Weekday Park City bus service will be provided.
UTA thanks riders for their understanding and cooperation on limited service holidays. Due to low ridership, UTA and many other public transit agencies limit service on select major holidays and federal/state observed holidays. Our full 2016-2017 holiday service schedule is available here.
