Saturday, June 2 is National Trails Day. Let UTA be your ride to one of the many urban trails across the Wasatch Front. Read on for details about a free trail celebration and resources to help you find a UTA-accessible trail near you.

Golden Spoke

UTA is helping sponsor Wasatch Front Regional Council’s Golden Spoke ride, celebrating the opening of 100 miles of multi-use trails that stretch from Ogden to Provo. Riders can start in Ogden or Provo and meet at the middle point at the Fisher Mansion, 1206 W. 200 South in Salt Lake City. The ride starts early Saturday morning – check here for a list of times based on departure point. Stop by UTA’s booth and pick up one of 200 free passes to ride UTA home.

Need help finding a safe path for your next bike trip? Check out the Salt Lake City Bike Map. See all the trails crisscrossing the valley – many of which are accessible via UTA. This map has information about UTA stops near trails and bike-accessible places like farmer’s markets and libraries. It also gives each trail a “comfort rating” to help riders determine if the trail is right for their experience level.
